UKULELE LESSONS

We recommend the ukulele for ages 4 and up.  Many young  students switch to the guitar after gaining the basics on the ukulele. If you have a young child who wants to learn the guitar, we often recommend starting with ukulele lessons first. The ukulele and guitar are played in a similar way, but are simply tuned differently. The ukulele has four strings and is smaller than the guitar which makes it easier on little hands.  It also makes the transition smoother if they choose to switch to guitar.

As an adult student, your teacher will focus on what you want really want to learn, while at the same time gaining valuable skills and techniques.   If you are an adult ukulele student, you will master the mechanics of the ukulele while playing the music you love.  If you are retired and looking for music lessons as a fun new activity learning the ukulele  is a great way to keep you busy, learning, growing, and stimulating your brain.
